The interior is a well executed mix of old school barbershop and manly upscale salon in a historic Downtown Los Angeles mid-rise building. It feels like it has been there forever but still has a shiny newness. I was there one minute and Matt made me feel like I was a long time customer. The other patrons seemed to have the same experience. They were hanging out, playing table shuffleboard and “BS”ing after their turn in the chair. Shane did my hair, a simple 3-1/2 shear. One would think this quick in-and-out buzz cut. This guy is REAL barber. Yeah the buzz only took a few minutes but he spent time lining up the neck, and sideburns, I think he even used a straight razor to do it just right. There is nothing I don’t like bout this place! I gotta go back and get the straight razor shave. I had a great experience, nice conversation and got a perfect haircut. Matt clearly gets it, this place is outstanding!
