BOLT BARBERS™ is the brainchild of Corporate Drop-Out & Global Marketing Entrepreneur “Mohawk Matt” Berman, who spent 25 years sniffing for cheese in the corporate world in senior marketing and general management positions with Procter & Gamble, Coty, Novartis, and Royal Numico (Acquired by Groupe Danone). Matt has lived, worked, and gotten his haircut in Paris, Lisbon, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Annapolis, Atlanta, & Cincinnati. Matt is originally from New York & has resided in Downtown Los Angeles, USA since 2008. Matt has an Advanced Management Degree from Wharton School of Business and is a 2009 graduate of The Real Barbers College.
Mohawk Matt is nicknamed after the haircut he has rocked since eschewing the corporate bullpen and trading in his laptop, blackberry, & bluetooth in favor of the clippers, comb, & straight edge razor. Surrounded by a tribe of like-minded passionate barbers and a skilled shoe shinesman (Mr Happyfeet), Bolt Barbers is an old school but never old fashioned barbershop for social beasts.
